When should I use the Clear Log button?

On the Utilities window of your program you will find abutton.

This button records when you update your software, make certain changes to some of your settings, and attempts by the software to spot and correct problems on its own.

If you are having difficulty with the way your program is running and call for tech support, you may be asked to clear this log, run the program for a while and then email the log file back to us. This allows us to diagnose the problem and serve you better.

The log file is located at: c:/hls/hlsxx/Log.dat - where xx represents the last two digits of the first half of the current school year. If this is the 2008-2009 school year, the file would be found at: c:/hls/hls08/Log.dat
